Patrick

The most potential I've ever seen in a boy!!!!!
We had so much fun! Despite being TURNED AWAY at Six Flags over Texas Fright Fest!!!
I've never heard of such a thing in my life! I couldn't believe it.
So we were trying to make it to Interstate 30 and totally went the wrong direction 3 times. We finally make it to Six Flags, park a good 15 minutes from the entrance. Walk the whole distance, arrive, and get turned away. They weren't letting anymore people in. We assume, for security reasons, it was full, but what a bummer. We had both been planning on this for several weeks AND we had both discussed how we reverted to little kids when we went to parks like this. I was trying to be on my best behavior, but I pouted and complained the whole way back to the car. We both did... and then we died laughing. We couldn't find Patrick's car, so we are wandering around and this car alarm goes off next to us. Some man yells at this woman walking past us and she yells back in a British accent "I WOULD, BUT I CAN'T TURN THE BLOODY THING OFF YOU MUPPET!"......O.K. I've never heard of that phrase before. Maybe it's a really bad swear word in Britain, but I have no idea. It was hilarious. From then on, we kept saying things like "You are supposed to be in THAT lane, you Muppet!" Totally my new catch phrase.
So, we had to ditch the Six Flags idea. Instead, Patrick took me to an Italian restaurant where I proceeded to order way too much food. Oh well, he seemed to like paying for me and listing to me and talking with me. He seemed really happy all evening, so was I. We then went to the Angelica Theater to catch an "artsy movie" but I saw "Proof" on the marquee and I couldn't resist....A MATH movie. I'm such a dork. I dragged Patrick to a math movie! He's so cute, he kept leaning over and saying thing like "what does "i" mean", "I don't get it, what's a prime number". Poor cute kid. We had competition to see who was the bigger dork :). So afterwards, I was exhausted but totally not ready to go home, so I said, "find a place where I can have some caffeine and I will get a second wind." At that point, Patrick said, "Ever been to Dave and Busters?". Are you kidding? I love Dave and Busters (Chucky Cheese type place for adults and kids with a bit of a classy feel to it, bar/restaurant/games."
We had a good time. We played ski ball, car racing, trivia games, Ms. Pac-man. We got 2 Dave and Busters Travel mugs with our tickets. He took me home, and I kissed him/he kissed me in my apartment before he left and we discussed seeing each other again. After he kissed me and I said I wanted to see him again he said "Um, yeah me too....(blah blah blah)... Sorry, I'm a bit giddy right now." Awwwwwwww. He's such a cutie - looks and personality. I really like him. He's also a complete gentleman. Always opening my car door, and doors to places and waiting for me to walk in front, and only little kisses, and....Everything.
So......I'm going to see him again. And he's going to call me....because I told him too.
And he will be back before Thanksgiving. He came up to Dallas to pick up his dogs, but the house he's renting just informed him that they are not sure if they can allow dogs. So he has to wait for it to be approved before he can bring them back. So, he'll be back. I don't know how, since he coaches both cross country AND soccer and told me he only had this weekend free because he is between sports and probably won't have another weekend free until May!
Oh boy. This is quite fun.
OK I have to go to bed now. Must teach Sunday School in the morning.
Much Love to all....
