Update

So I haven't posted in a while, but can you blame me?! I mean, when you have such a fun post and such a great story, there isn't much that seems blog worthy after that. Well, life moves on. I have to say that the first week after getting back from California was a bit trying. I was going through withdrawal from friends and excitement and romance. I was stuck on a very boring client out in Fort Worth which gave me an hour drive every morning and evening to think and ponder and stew. Well thanks to the help of some great friends, I'm myself again.
Well I'm now doing A LOT better.
Reality is very nice.
In reality, there is a boy out there with a crush on me who finally called me on Saturday, and my phone was on, but I was at the movie theater and embarrassed myself...it was my phone going off in the middle of "In Her Shoes" Which was pretty good by the way.
So I called Patrick back and we played phone tag a bit, but he finally caught me on Saturday night. What a cutie. His voice was a bit shaky so I asked tons of questions and forced him to relax. So...Patrick will be in town in 2 1/2 weeks to pick up his dogs from his parent's house, and we have plans to "get together" (I said it, I could tell he wasn't sure how to ask me, so I just said "You're going to be in town that weekend? Well, then we should get together!").
I'm thinking we should go to the Fright Fest at Six Flags. I've been to S'Carowinds and had tons of fun with some pretty awesome people. I think that would be good, but he may be planning something else. Wow, this is a change for me. Usually it's me with the crush. We will see, we will see!
So, life is good. My parent's are in China for 3 weeks. Man, when I grow up, I want to be my parents!
Well, I should get back to my house sitting duties and play with Pepsi (our dog) and keep my Grandma company.
