Number 10

This is the newest addition to the list. Tomorrow night (Saturday) I will be going on my tenth blind date. This one has potential. The night I came back from New York, my sister picked me up from the airport and we went to dinner. Pulling into the parking lot she asked "So, you ready to be set up again?" I said "sure, I'm always ready." This is what I know about the guy from my sister:
He's a teacher at at Heather's middle school
He teaches special needs kids
He loves his job and his kids
He's a very inventive and good teacher
He's taking grad school classes as well to get his PHD
He grew up in South Carolina
He's about 27
He's not good looking, but not bad looking either
He's funny
He splits his Sunday mornings between the Catholic church and the Baptist church
AND......
Last year his new years resolution was to quite smoking...it didn't take. He smokes. :(
Nobody's perfect right?

Well, I've talked to him on the phone twice, first for about 8 minutes, second time for 1 hour. He's very talkative....THis guy has major potential...but I seriously have an issue with the smoking. Heather's already told him that smoking may be an issue and assured her he wouldn't smoke on the date, he's pretty embarrassed that he smokes. We'll see, if it goes well...I may have to go out and buy him the patch.
So we're going out to dinner (with Heather and Alan, I don't think I could go on a blind date without back up) and then mini-golfing (since it's supposed to be 84 degrees tomorrow!!! - I think I could get used to this spring time in March thing going on here in Dallas). It all sounds so promising :) Wish me luck!
