Do you remember...

back in October when I wrote about that huge KPMG party I went to? Do you remember when I wrote about the guy I met there who I thought was marriage potential? Well guess what. After a little over 3 months, I saw him again. I made plans with my friend Stacy to go out tonight...dinner and either a good band or a good movie. I was just finishing up my errands when she called and asked if it was allright if Charley joined us. Is it alright?!!!! Is it alright???!!!! I've been trying to get the guts to ask her if she could arrange for us to bump into each other somewhere! Yes, that was fine, I said. Oh, yeah, I remember him. Well, it was great. He's awesome. I spent dinner trying to be friendly, not too flirtatious, but not too stand-offish either. Then on the way to the movie theater, when it was just Stacy and I, she mentioned how he just started dating this awesome girl and he's "so excited about it". Darn, Darn, Darn, Darn, Darn. For the rest of the evening, I felt wired. Here I am, spending an entire evning with the only guy I have seriously wanted to date in a long long time, and he's already in a relationship. I sat next to him through the movie "Million Dollar Baby" and I wanted to hold his hand, rest my head against his shoulder, touch his foot with my foot, and I couldn't even think about it because he's taken. So not fair. Oh well, I better get to bed. I've got to keep 3-9 three and four year olds in line at 9:3o AM.
