I'm an Aunt!

For any of you that might have missed out on my emailing (I have a few friends who's email addresses came back to me, I'd love to have new email addresses for those of you that did not get my email last week), I am an Aunt. Little John Alan (Jack) Brackett entered the world on November 20, 2006 and entered Heather and Alan's home and all of our hearts on March 7, 2007. He is a healthy, happy, good natured little boy with big blue eyes, long eyelashes, and an adorable turned up button noes. I'm completely in love with my nephew! As he is now on his third home (his mom for 2 months, and a foster home for 1 month), the proud parents have been given very specific directions to keep him away from crowds, public, and other people's arms for a while. I totally understand this, he needs to form attachment to Heather and Alan so that he knows without a doubt, that they are his loving, caring, parents. I've held him three times and I just love him! He barely cries and only whimpers a little when he needs something. Well, I do need to get back to work. I'm drowning in work still and I don't know how much more I can take. For now, I just have to push myself to get through it.
